Since my very early years, when I used to watch my father bury himself in the pitch black cupboard under the stairs where he would hand wind rolls of film into developing tanks, I have had a fascination for photography. In my teens I would process my own black and white pictures but as colour slides became more affordable I switched formats. Now it is all digital but I still adhere to the principle of arranging the framing and balance in the viewfinder before committing to the picture.
My interests are shape, texture, colour and light.
in this collection the subject matter may extend from stone spheres to squashes but all will have at least one of the four criteria applied.
